Logline
The Cape of Good Hope. 1794. Trijn van de Caab, a freed slave and wigmaker’s apprentice, travels with her adored French employer and teacher to a remote slave estate for an unknown reason. There she is drawn into the heart of a strange spiral house where a cruel experiment is being conducted. As she weaves a wig to hide a secret, she learns that freedom is not what she imagined it would be.

THE SPIRAL HOUSE is being developed through Kindergarten Films in collaboration with Up A Gum Tree Productions (South Africa) and Hazazah Pictures (The Netherlands).
